About Someday ForeverSomeday Forever was formed in 2003 by Russ Rockett and Ron Randall, who have been playing together since they were 15. Back then they honed their skills by learning virtually every Rick Springfield and Bryan Adams song quickly followed by Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Poison, Motley Crue, Guns n’ Roses and many other late 80s and early 90s hard rock bands. Current musical influences include Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, and Nickelback. Russ and Ron performed together in many cover bands including Phoenix and Blackout before deciding to focus on original music. They did this separately for a short time, with Russ writing music solo and with a partner and Ron performing with Sonic Vibe, then came together again as Someday later changing the name to Someday Forever. The Someday Forever sound brings together the best of the above influences. The songs on their debut CD, Someday, range from the powerful rock ballad “I Will Always Love You” to the hard-driving “Your Love,” which features fast, energetic metal riffs. Songs such as “I Knew You Were the One” and “Someday” feature great lyrics and addictive hooks. The long history between lead singer and guitarist Russ Rockett and drummer Ron Randall is apparent throughout the CD. The songs are tight musically and many have the potential to be hits. Someday Forever is currently finishing their first CD, including the songs on this page. The CD is scheduled for release in early 2007. |
